A Beatles tribute act, climbing wall and a caricature artist will all be part of the festivities this Sunday in Coalville Park.

Families in the town will enjoy live music, children's rides and entertainment.

Organised by North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC), Picnic in the Park will take place on Sunday, June 18, in Coalville Park from 12pm until 5.30pm.

Highlights on stage include music from tribute band Hey Beatles, The Inspired and Leicestershire Co-op Brass Band.

Picnic in the Park also features lots of stalls, attractions and family entertainment including a climbing wall, skate and scooter workshop, football tables, graffiti workshop and a caricaturist.

Children will also be able to take part in craft activities and fairground rides.

You can find more details HERE.

The 1620s House in Donington le Heath is also marking the occasion on Sunday with its Picnic For Pa.
