Easter is here and if you are looking for a family activity this weekend, there are a couple of 'Hunts' to keep the children occupied.

All through the Easter holidays, the 1620s House in Donington le Heath is organising a Bunny Hunt.

There are bunnies have hidden around the tourist attraction near Coalville, away from the prying eyes of the public. 

Your help is needed to find them so that they don't miss out on the biggest budget Bunny film awards of the year: 'The Golden Hare Globes'! Your efforts will be rewarded.

On Good Friday, Coalville's Rocket Railways and Escape Coalville are staging an Easter Egg hunt.

There is £1 donation to charity to join in - with chocolate and sweets prizes to be won!

There is plenty of live entertainment this weekend with the Century Theatre in Coalville hosting Ceri Dupree on Saturday night.

Ceri has performed hroughout the UK, Europe and overseas and has impersonated almost every female star in the world at one time or another.

When it comes to dressing up in drag, as the late Paul O'Grady once said of him: "In a field full of donkeys, Ceri is a racehorse!" Come and judge for yourself.

The town's music scene offers up a legendary band from the Punk Rock era at the Victoria Bikers' Pub on Friday night.

It was 1976 when 999 first formed - and they are still going strong.

You can catch them at the Whitwick Road venue - more details are HERE.

Ibstock's Central Bar and Grill has Fleetwood Mac tribute band Landslide playing live on Saturday night.
