Music and cinema dominate the calendar for this weekend - with something for you foodies out there today (Friday).

The Century Theatre in Coalville is showing the Oscar winning film Belfast this evening (Friday).

Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical film based on his happy childhood home life in Belfast at the time of the Troubles, starring Catriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan & Ciaran Hinds.

Voted Best British Film at BAFTA Awards and winner of the OSCAR for Best Original Screenplay.

There is plenty of live music on this weekend with gigs at two venues tonight (Friday).

The Black Horse in Whitwick has Twister Guitar Duo.

They are billed as 'A fantastic talented duo featuring Ray Hatfield and Keith Buck'.

But the Victoria Bikers Pub in Coalville has a huge Bank Holiday weekend coming up with a string of bands across two nights.

Tonight (Friday), Airforce are playing live with support, and you can find out more about that gig HERE.

But tomorrow (Saturday), the same venue has an all-dayer with doors opening at noon.

The Snibstone New Inn in Coalville also has live music tomorrow (Saturday) with 3 Lees Than 5 on stage.
