Century Theatre in Coalville is holding a Soul and Motown Night this Saturday.
The venue promises an amazing night with Jayne Leslie - and says there will be a warm and friendly atmosphere and cosy bar area.
It also says it is perfect for a special Valentine's weekend evening out..

Also staying in the Valentine's Day mood is the 1620s House at Donington Le Heath.
The renowned tourist attraction has a Valentine's Tea on Sunday.

There is a weekly Quiz Night every Sunday at the Bull's Head in Abbots Oak.
The pub brought it back last week as part of its regular features.
The Bull's Head posted last week: "We will be restarting our highly popular quiz evening every Sunday from 7pm the 6th February 2022, when we can safely seat everyone once again since the start of the pandemic.
"Our extremely popular quiz master James will be back to make it once again the best place to enjoy a great quiz.

The Victoria Biker's Pub has two more nights of live music tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
Tomorrow, there is free entry to see Unholy Alliance.
