The Black Horse in Whitwick has live music tomorrow night (Friday) when Merle Forbes is appearing.

She will be performing the best of Disco, Reggae, Soul and Pop.

The pub says: 'Dig out those dancing shoes'.

The Century Theatre has a film night tomorrow (Friday) and is showing Spencer.

Spencer is a 2021 historical fiction psychological drama film directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Peaky Blinders witer Steven Knight.

The film is about Princess Diana's existential crisis at Christmas because she wants to divorce Prince Charles and leave the British royal family. Kristen Stewart and Jack Farthing star as Princess Diana and Prince Charles respectively.

The Victoria Bikers' Pub has live music on Saturday night.

The Vulger Sons are a four-piece, Midlands-based, heavy metal band.

On Tuesday, the Century Theatre is the venue again for Alive and Kicking - Part of International Women's Day.

You can come along for chats, laughter and performances of music, poetry and film, all made by local women. There will be opportunity for open mic too - 7pm-10.30pm.

Next Thursday, the Fantastic Females Exhibition is being held at the Coalville CAN community group's base in Memorial Square.

The organisers say: "Fifty Fantastic Females are returning to town.. all nominated and created by local groups, schools, and individuals.

"There'll be space to chat and craft too, so bring your stuff along to share with others!

"Coalville's very own Gemma Steel will be there on Thursday to open the exhibition."
