Volunteers are wanted by Coalville CAN to assist at Midlands music festivals this summer

Coalville CAN is on the hunt for volunteers to help out at music festivals in the Midlands this summer.

The Memorial Square-based community organisation is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and honest individuals who want to make a difference. 

You have a chance to join the team, enjoy great music and gain a fantastic experience.

Volunteers are wanted for the following events:

Sausage and Cider Festival at Catton Park

Setup: Thursday, June 27; Festival: Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30; Clear-up: Monday, July 1.

Location: Catton Park, near Burton

Highlights: Three stages of music all weekend; Free tickets for the entire festival; Extra free tickets for family and friends

Main Tasks: Litter picking and keeping the venue tidy. The more volunteers we have, the easier the job.

• Transport from Coalville included

• Valuable work experience for your CV

• References provided by James Dean Events and Coalville CAN

• Opportunities to assist with sound, light and stage work too 

Future Events:

• Beacon Park Tribute Festival**, Lichfield, in July

• Back 2 Festival**, Thoresby Hall, later in August

Over 18s can come alone, 16 to 18s need 18plus/family with them. Families are welcome too.
