Two fire crews called out to deal with garden fire which spread to kitchen at Coalville home

Two fire crews were called out to a garden fire in Coalville that had spread from there to the kitchen at the same property.

The engines came from Coalville Fire Station after two emergency calls were received on Friday afternoon.

A blaze had started in a garden at property in Cropston Drive.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue reported:  "Two calls for reports of a fire in rear garden of property.

"Upon arrival, incident confirmed as a fire in a rear garden that had spread to domestic dwelling.

"Fire was located in ground floor kitchen which had spread from garden to house.

"Four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire."
