Thringstone Primary School pupils collect 'huge' amount of rubbish at community litter pick

By Coalville Nub News Reporter 24th Mar 2025

Pupils from Thringstone Primary School played a major part in last Saturday's litter pick in the village.

And organisers of the clean-up said that it was the biggest group of children they had ever had getting involved.

Community litter picks have been taking place in Thringstone for 20 years.

The help offered by the pupils on this occasion meant that they were able to collect a 'huge' amount of rubbish on the day, as the photos here show.
