Three people arrested after incident at a Coalville home which left man in hospital

Three people were arrested - two on suspicion of aggravated burglary - following an incident at a Coalville property which saw one man taken to hospital on Wednesday evening.

Police were called at around 9.50pm on Wednesday (December 15) to an address in Tayleur Close following a report of an altercation.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Coalville Nub News: "On arrival, it was established that one man had sustained an injury to his hand which was not serious.

"He received hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

"As a result of our enquiries, three people were arrested.

"A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of a knife and has since been released with no further action.

"A 17-year-old youth was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and a 16-year-old youth was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.

"They have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

"Our investigation into the incident remains ongoing."
