A plan to turn a Thringstone residential house into a children's care home is set to get the green light next week,
The application is for the change of use at 75 Main Street with scheme due to be discussed at North West Leicestershire District Council's planning committee meeting on Wednesday (January 16).
But out of 16 letters of neighbour representation, 13 raised objections to the development.
However, Leicestershire County Council Highway Authority had no objections to the application along with the District Council's Environmental Protection Team.
But, it has since been pointed out to Coalville Nub News, by a resident, that 16 letters were posted out but it is claimed three of them were to empty properties, and that none of the comments from residents have been taken into account.
The applicant, Amir Abbas, of Burton on Trent, put his plans forward two months ago and more details on that are HERE.
And the documents accompanying the application which will go before councillors on Wednesday says: "The principle of the development is acceptable. No external alterations are proposed as a result of
the development. "The proposal is considered to be acceptable in terms of highway safety. Onbalance, the proposed change of use is not considered to result in significantly detrimental impact on neighbouring amenities.
"There are no other relevant material planning considerations that indicate planning permission should not be granted.
"The proposal is deemed to comply with the relevant policies in the adopted Local Plan and the advice in the NPPF. It is therefore recommended that the application be permitted."
