Birmingham company is caught fly-tipping near Ravenstone - after leaving clear trail behind

A West Midlands-based company was caught fly-tipping at a site near Ravenstone - after leaving an obvious identity trail behind.
North West Leicestershire District Council says the Birmingham business left details of its identity in among the rubbish dumped in the countryside.
The slip-up meant the company could be traced and fined.
The Coalville-based council has not named the business involved in the fly-tipping, but it has made it clear that the dumping of waste is illegal.
NWLDC revealed the crackdown on social media this week and said: "A Birmingham business has been fined after its details were found in a fly-tip near Ravenstone.
"It failed to provide the required waste disposal records and received a Fixed Penalty Notice, which has now been paid.
"A reminder to all businesses: Make sure your waste is only handled by licensed carriers and always complete Waste Transfer Notes.
"Keep these records for two years to stay compliant.
"Let's work together to keep our communities clean."
