Leicestershire County Council says the new car parking payment system at Snibston Colliery Park now incorporates number plate recognition.

A post on the Leicestershire Country Parks website says season ticket holders will be able to park on this site for free – as long as you make sure your car registration number assigned to your ticket is up to date, - that will avoid any last minute car park barrier issues.

Car parking charges at Snibston Colliery Park are £2 for one hour, £3 for two hours, £4 for three hours and £5 all day,
