Ravenstone man is arrested by Coalville Police - and charged with nine shop thefts

A man from a village near Coalville was arrested and charged with nine shop offences over the weekend.
He was joined by another man who was also arrested at the same time.
Coalville police said in a social media post that Simon Farr (46) of Beesley Lane, Ravenstone, was due in court earlier this week following nine instances of shop theft.
The post, from North West Leicestershire Police, reads: "Over the weekend, officers from the Coalville Response and Neighbourhood Teams were working together - and two men were arrested in Coalville on suspicion of a number of theft offences.
"Following the completion of extensive enquiries, and the suspect interviews, one of the males, Nathan Lindo (29) of The Green, Donington Le Heath, was charged with one shop theft and bailed to appear at court on Thursday, May 1."
"The second male, Simon Farr (46) of Beesley Lane, Ravenstone was charged with nine shop thefts and remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court last Monday (April 14)."
