Police officers searching for a missing 18-year-old Coalville man have found a body.

James Fincher was reported missing from an address in Coalville at 3.55pm yesterday (Saturday).

Leicestershire Police say a body was found in the area of Meadow Lane, Coalville yesterday evening.

Formal identification is yet to take place.

The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.

The police have thanked everyone who shared an appeal made on Saturday night and provided information.

A police helicopter was used in the search for an on Saturday afternoon.

A social media post from the National Police Air Service on Saturday evening said: "We have been overhead the Coalville/Whitwick areas assisting Leicestershire Police with this search this evening."
