Police Chief Praises Night Of Drugs Related Arrests In Region - Including Two In Ibstock

North West Leicestershire's Police commander has praised another set of drugs arrests in the region.

Inspector Rich Jackson confirmed a cannabis factory had been destroyed in Ashby with one arrest made.

He also said there had been two arrests made for drug offences in Ibstock and said that more action is likely to follow.

Inps Jackson tweeted on Saturday morning: "More great work by the team last night with a cannabis factory destroyed in Ashby & one arrested. Two also arrested for drug offences in Ibstock.

"Thirty-plus warrants and closure orders now completed to tackle drugs in North West Leicestershire in recent weeks with more to follow…."

The two most recent successes have been highlighted by police in Ashby Suspect is tackled after Ashby drugs raid and Ibstock Ibstock drugs den is closed down

Last month, North West Leicestershire Police discovered a cannabis farm worth £1million in Ellistown Cannabis worth £1million uncovered in Ellistown premises
