Police assault: Two Coalville teenagers due to appear in youth court

Two Coalville teenagers are due to appear at youth court in July, both charged with assaulting an emergency worker.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker following an incident in Coalville on Friday (22 May).

A second boy, also aged 16, has been charged with one count of assaulting an emergency worker and one count of possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knuckleduster.

Both youths have been released on bail to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court youth court on 6 July.
