Police appeal issued as 'large quantity of tools' stolen from property in Coleorton

A large quantity of tools was stolen from a property in Coleorton last week.

Leicestershire Police has issued an appeal for witnesses to the burglary on Loughborough Road.

The incident took place overnight with the suspects' vehicle thought to have been parked nearby.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We are appealing for witnesses in relation to a burglary at an outbuilding on Loughborough Road, Coleorton between 11.30pm on Monday, January 13, and 08.30am on Tuesday, January 14, whereby a large quantity of tools was stolen.

"The suspects are believed to have parked close to the junction of The Moor/ Lower Moor Road, Coleorton.

"If anyone was passing and noticed a vehicle parked on this stretch of road, or may have dashcam showing anything, please contact 101 and quote Crime Reference Number 25000025559."
