One Person Trapped In Vehicle After Whitwick Collision - Coalville and Shepshed Fire Crews Called

One person was trapped in their vehicle after a road traffic collision in Whitwick on Wednesday evening - and later taken away by ambulance.

The incident happened in Oaks Road and fire crews from Coalville and Shepshed were called.

The collision was just before 6pm and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service reported that one person was trapped.

Two Fire appliances were on the scene.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service later added: 'One casualty assisted from vehicle by Fire Service and left in care of East Midlands Ambulance Service."
