North West Leicestershire Police have issued another warning to motorists not to drink and drive.

They reported an arrest in Heather on Sunday when Neighbourhood Officers stopped a drink driver while on patrol.

The police reported: "The driver was arrested and taken to custody.

"We are out there and we are stopping drivers, please pass this message onto your friends and loved ones.

"It really isn't worth the risk.

"Pub landlords also need to take some responsibility as you'll be running out of customers."
