Local films by writer who learned his craft in Coalville are supporting Leicestershire domestic abuse charity

Short films by local writer Keith Large are supporting the Leicestershire charity Living Without Abuse - which provides help and support for anyone suffering from domestic abuse or sexual violence

Keith his creative writing career with the Coalville-based Gracedieu Writers' Circle - and his most recent film 'The Silent Treatment' tackles the often overlooked subtle abuse of using silence as a form of coercive control in abusive relationships.

The film can be viewed below.

Also supporting the charity is Keith's Hollywood award winning short film 'A Date With Shillelagh'.

The film, which won both a best producer and best cinematography award at The Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival in 2019, covers the topic of sexual predators operating in the entertainment industry and also supports the 'Me Too' Movement.
