A North West Leicestershire team will be cycling for 24 hours later this month to raise money for foodbanks in Coalville and Ashby.

Ashby company Plastribution riders will be getting on their bike on November 24-25 and at the Whitwick & Coalville Leisure Centre gym.

There will also be a food donation station based at the company's office in Charter Point Way in Ashby.

When the final total raised is calculated, Plastribution will be buying food and donating it to the local foodbanks as well as the Swannington Community Hall Christmas lunch, where families and individuals can go on Christmas day for a meal.
