A four-bedroom property is the last home for sale at a housing development in Heather, where construction work is now complete.

Bellway East Midlands has finished building 34 homes at Heathlands, off Swepstone Road, including five affordable properties for local people.

As part of the planning agreement for the development, the housebuilder has delivered funding of more than £66,000 for education, as well as over £17,000 towards GP services.

The final home remaining at Heathlands is the four-bedroom detached Spinney house type, which features a kitchen and family room, a separate dining room, dual-aspect living room, and utility room. The first floor comprises four double bedrooms, two of which benefit from en suite shower rooms, and a family bathroom.

The last home is priced at £350,000.

Claire Black, Sales Manager for Bellway East Midlands, said: "We have now finished work at Heathlands, a development which has delivered a superb selection of high-quality homes in this picturesque corner of Leicestershire.

"With just one home still available to buy here, I would encourage anyone interested to contact our sales team to avoid missing out on being part of this new community.

"So far, we've helped a range of first-time buyers, downsizers, professional couples, and growing families find their perfect home at Heathlands, and we're very much looking forward to welcoming more buyers to the development later this year.

"Heather offers a traditional village setting and access to a wide range of amenities, as well as good connections to the motorway network, meaning buyers can enjoy the best of both worlds. Ibstock town centre is only 1.5 miles away, while it's just a 15- minute drive to Junction 22 of the M1, which is ideal for commuters.

"Many of our customers have taken advantage of the Government's stamp duty holiday, enabling them to save a considerable amount of money on their purchase. The scheme is in place until March 31, so the buyer of the final plot at Heathlands will pay no stamp duty as long as they complete their purchase by that date."
