Kip McGrath in Coalville will be holding summer school sessions next month at their office in High Street.

They will provide a chance for local students to brush up on their subjects (maths and English) before returning to school in September.

Kip Coalville has also teamed up with Elite Gaming Lounge for the summer.

Co-Director Helen Harper said: "We've launched this within our own centre and are starting to take bookings in.

"The summer school sessions will be held over four days in August - 7th/8th and 14th/15th, so it's a Monday and a Tuesday.

There is also a link up with Elite Gaming Lounge

"This is open to new and existing students. If a new student wants to come and try us out, then they can do with no need to enrol.

"We'll still do a free assessment and they can have a little support to reduce learning loss over the summer.

"We're also pleased to be able to offer some full day sessions which will involve two Kip learning sessions and can include some fun and gaming activities at the Elite Gaming Lounge

"So, parents have three options: some educational sessions with us; some fun and gaming sessions with EGL; or a combined day of the two."
