Hugglescote Community Centre wants all visitors to download the new NHS App.

The centre also asks people to wear a face covering - unless exempt.

A message on the community centre's Facebook page explains what is needed.

It reads: "The new NHS app has officially launched today (Thursday).

"We require all visitors to Hugglescote Community Centre, (over the age of 16) to download this app so they are able to scan our unique QR track and trace code.

"You will then be alerted should you have been in close contact with a confirmed positive Covid-19 case.

"This is important and in accordance with the law, not having a phone capable of operating the app does not mean you are unable to attend the centre.

"Group leaders will still be logging the detail of those attending.

"If you're attending the centre please wear a face covering, unless fully exempt.

"Those attending martial arts or exercise classes still need to wear one to enter the building or to move around when not engaged in their activity."
