A Coalville man has issued an appeal in an attempt to find his lost parrot.

The bird, called Fluffy, flew away from his home in Waterworks Road on Monday.

And it was spotted nearby when a neighbour filmed him on top of a conservatory.

Fluffy's owner Shamsuddin Ziauddin, says the bird can say its own name and 'Good Boy'.

It is a Quaker parrot which is known for their charming, comical personalities and their willingness to learn human speech.

They are seen as a good choice for bird lovers who want all the fun of a large parrot in a smaller package.

Quakers are a popular pet, good for dedicated beginners, and adapt well to living in a 'human flock' setting.

If you have any information or have seen Fluffy, you can call 07825 525741.
