This photo shows the result of a drugs raid by Coalville Police last night (Monday).
The front door of a property in Discovery Close was smashed in as officers from the North West Leicestershire Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) executed a warrant at the Coalville address under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A social media post from North West Leicestershire Police said that they are 'actively targeting' drugs dealers and that this warrant was due to information passed on by the community in the area.
A Leicestershire Police spokesman said: "The warrant was executed following information received.
"A small amount of cannabis was recovered.
"A woman who was present at the address was dealt with by way of a community resolution."
North West Leicestershire Police's post reads: "Officers executed another warrant following information passed onto us by the local community.
"We have a zero tolerance approach towards drug supply and are actively targeting drug dealers in the area."
Inspector Rich Jackson, NPA Commander for North West Leicestershire, also tweeted and said: "Information from the community is critical in our response to tackling drug related matters.
"Last night's enforcement by the local team in Coalville reflects this.
"Please continue to report and we will take appropriate action."
A community resolution is an informal non-statutory disposal used for dealing with less serious crime and anti-social behaviour where the offender accepts responsibility.
The views of the victim are taken into account in reaching an informal agreement between the parties.
