North West Leicestershire District Council has confirmed details of Sunday's Remembrance Day service in Coalville.

The Coalville Remembrance Parade will leave Christ Church at 10.30am on Sunday as part of this weekend's Remembrance Day events.

The parade will end at the War Memorial Clock Tower for a service, two-minute silence and wreath laying ceremony.

Poppy petals will also be released from the top of the tower to honour those who have served, or are serving, in the armed forces.

All are welcome to attend the Whitwick Branch of the Royal British Legion and Coalville Remembrance Partnership to remember and reflect on the sacrifices of the fallen.
