Coalville tip is set to re-open next month for the first time since mid-March.
Leicestershire County Council says the Linden Way site will be opening up again on Tuesday, August 4, - with online bookings available from Friday, 24 July.
Six more sites will begin to re-open from later this month, starting at Bottesford on Thursday, 30 July, with time-slots available to book online from Friday, 17 July.
All sites require residents to book an appointment in advance to ensure the safety of site users and staff as social distancing is maintained.
The council says a booking system, which has been in operation for the sites already open, will help ensure queuing is kept to a minimum, and residents can safely use the sites without delay.
Councillor Trevor Pendleton, county council cabinet member for waste disposal, said: "We'd like to thank residents for their understanding and patience during this time.
"We appreciate that, in some situations, people have had to travel further than they normally would to dispose of their waste - and these further re-openings will help this situation.
"We are continuing to monitor government guidance closely to ensure we can offer a safe and resilient service going forward."
Lount tip, near Ashby, re-opened in mid-May. It will continue to be open for the extended period of seven days a week, with the Shepshed site continuing to open for five days a week, including weekends.
These arrangements will be subject to change as more sites re-open.
People wishing to visit a waste site are reminded that all information about the types of waste accepted at each site, as well as links to the booking system, are available at Leicestershire Waste
