The A511 near Sinope Island was shut for almost an hour while police dealt with the rush hour incident.

A spokesman for Leicestershire Police said: "Around 7.20am on Friday, July 2, officers received a report of a collision between a car and a lorry on the A511 near Sinope Island, Coalville.

"The road was closed while officers attended and the vehicles were recovered.
