Coalville's Stealth Black Belt Academy hosts its thrilling fight night finale of the year

In a dazzling display of skill and determination, Stealth Black Belt Academy students pitched their skills against one another at the Annual Sport Karate Championships, centred around the coveted club's title Belts.
The Coalville and Hathern Academies each put up their No1 contenders in each weight class to battle it out for the chance to challenge the current title holder.
"I believe that martial arts transcends physical skills; it moulds character, discipline, and resilience, shaping individuals for success both on and off the mat," said Coach Craig Smith, the the founder of the Stealth Academies now turned politician.
His son, Kieran Smith, Head Coach of The Coalville Academy, said: "I am dedicated to fostering a training environment that not only hones martial excellence but instills values that extend beyond the dojo."
The championships provided a platform for both seasoned practitioners and newcomers to test their abilities in the points-style sport karate, with over 40 fights on the night.
Over 250 Family and friends gathered to witness the spectacle, cheering on the competitors and soaking in the spirit of martial arts competition.
"We strive to nurture not just skilled athletes but individuals who embody the true spirit of martial arts in every aspect of their lives," emphasised Nikki Hughes, Head Coach of the. Hathern Academy.
Of the six title belts contested, five were retained by last year's winners.
But some of the youngsters now older, they will become vacant at next year's championships.
