Coalville's THINK FC holding an online talk at the end of next month

Coalville's THINK FC community group are hosting an online discussion at the end of March.

Entitled, Sharing, Learning and Tools to Make a Difference in the Community, they will be sharing the simplest and most accessible ways and resources to support people and communities to take control of their lives and the places they live.

TH!NK FC is a cooperative social enterprise formed in 2016 with a mission to to 'Level the Playing Field'.

The call, on March 31, will start with a video diary: Spotlight on Coalville.

TH!NK FC and the local crew will update on what is happening in the town, including the setting up and progress being made by Coalville C.A.N. a newly registered Community Benefit Society.

Its mission is Connecting Coalville to make a people led positive change.

You will then be able to join a break out room of your choice.

Room 1: Ideas and Connecting. Open your mind to new possibilities! This room is for people looking for ideas and tools to use and share to make a difference and connect with others - including Community Asset Bingo and a mass Possibility TH!NK! With Deana from TH!NK FC

Room 2: Community Mapping Learn some techniques for Community network mapping, including playing with a fictitious town and its people and thinking about how you might use these methods in your community. With David Wilcox and Drew Mackie.

Room 3: Liberating Structures with Henry Stewart. Discover the powerful effects of Liberating Structures . Are your meetings and events effective and inspiring, or are they too often dominated by one or two people? Discover two or three of these structures and learn how to transform your meetings and events with Henry Stewart – Chief Happiness Officer.

Room 4: Wicked Spreadsheet with Co-operative Assistance Network. If you are looking to take over a space or a place – you need a Wicked Spreadsheet. Brian has one, this tool will help you take over buildings and sense check the viability quickly. Brian will share its simple secrets and how you can get free access to this Open Source tool to help your community wealth building project get off the ground! Recording of previous workshop here

Main Room – for anyone that's left you are invited to stay in the main room to chat with Ian Wilson – Co-owner / Director of CASE , Support Crew member & Advisor to Coalville CAN and Director of TH!NK FC and share your wisdom on a relevant challenge or topic!
