Coalville woman appears in court with two others after being charged with drugs offences

A Coalville woman is among three people who have been charged as part of enforcement carried out to disrupt suspected drug activity.

Leicestershire Police report that Bradley Mclaren, 21 of no fixed address, Spencer James, 46, of Ipswich Close, Leicester and Maria Brampton, 25, of Bakewell Street, Coalville have been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

They were remanded and appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court today (Friday, April 30).

The charges relate to a number of warrants executed by officers in the Beaumont Leys and Coalville area yesterday (Thursday) and today.

A total of eight people were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Two have been released on police bail pending further enquiries while three others have been released under investigation.
