Cockburn Vets in Coalville has been crowned Best UK Vet for the second consecutive year.

The London Road-based practice took the title in the prestigious BestUKVet Awards once again.

Cockburn Vets scooped the highest accolade, in addition to Best in County, with over 600 outstanding reviews left online by its clients.

Over half of the UK's vets are involved in the awards, which are now in their 10th year.

Cockburn Vets is an independent, family-run practice that has cared for animals in the Coalville, Ashby, Shepshed, Market Bosworth and Markfield areas since the 1930s - and it won the same award 12 months ago.

In order to select the winner, awards organisers, VetHelpDirect.com, analysed and moderated over 15,500 reviews left by pet owners throughout the year on UK vet practice websites - and Cockburn Vets received the most four and five star reviews.
