Morrison's Supermarket in Coalville will be holding a pop-up vaccine clinic this weekend.

It will be open from Friday (Mar 11) to this Sunday.

The clinic will be open for 12+ and 16+ sessions - available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & booster doses.

The Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group says: "A booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is available for everyone aged 16 and over, at least three months after their second dose.

"The booster programme is delivered through existing vaccination sites including pharmacies, hospital hubs, GP practices and vaccine centres. People do not have to go back to the same place where they received their first two doses.

"If you have not been contacted and it has been three months since your second dose, try to book your appointment using the national booking service. You can also have your booster at one of the local walk-in clinics.

"You can pre-book a booster dose of the vaccine if it has been two months (61 days) since your second dose via the national booking service or by calling 119.

"However your appointment for the vaccine will be no sooner than three months after your second dose.

"In line with JCVI advice people will receive either one dose of the Pfizer vaccine or half a dose of the Moderna vaccine, even if they had the AstraZeneca vaccine for their first and second doses.

"You can have a booster if:

• you are aged 16 or over and your second dose was at least three months ago.
• you are aged 12 to 15 and you are are extremely clinically vulnerable, or if you live with an adult who is extremely clinically vulnerable.
