COALVILLE Police have urged local parents to check on their children's movements in the evenings following 'increased reports' of anti-social behaviour.

A social media post from North West Leicestershire Police says that there are particular problems at the Belvoir Shopping Centre.

Police say they will be addressing the behaviour - as it is disrupting the community.

The post reads: "Do you know where your child is during the evenings?

"We're receiving increasing reports of anti-social behaviour around the Coalville area, but in particular the Belvoir Shopping Centre.

"This behaviour is causing disruption in our community – your community!

"Please be aware the Police will be addressing this behaviour with those responsible.

"We encourage you to have an open conversation with your child what constitutes acceptable behaviour in our town centre.

"Let's work together to keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone!"
