Coalville Police give progress report on steps to address anti-social behaviour across area
Coalville Police say they have been dealing with anti-social behaviour at a number of locations in the area.
A social media post from North West Leicestershire Police explains that several issues have been addressed.
This follows on from a 24-hour dispersal order being imposed in the town centre last month.
The police posted: "You have reported on-going issues relating to drug use and associated anti-social behaviour (ASB) in and around the Trowell street, Pippa place and Action Man Road areas.
"We have actively been patrolling the location and completed a joint consultation in the area with the housing association to address concerns of graffiti and ASB.

"We have received numerous reports from the Belvoir Centre relating to general anti social behaviour from young people who are meeting in large numbers at the shopping centre.
"This is causing issues to local security and also members of the public using the facilities within the centre.
"The safety of all users and staff members at the shopping centre is a priority for the local beat team and we take all reports made to us seriously.
"We have conducted a number of patrols in the area, both in conjunction with a focused ASB week and on-going patrols. We are liaising with the management at the centre as well as other partners and are looking at long-term solutions to the issue and preventative measures.
"A number of young people have been spoken to, with parents, to educate on what is acceptable behaviour in our town centre.
"You have reported on-going issues with drugs and ASB in and around the Central Road, Hugglescote area which is impacting the local community
"We are working with partners to address your concerns and bring long-term resolutions to the issues reported. We have further measures planned in order to achieve this.
"We encourage the public to continue to work with us and report issues. We have completed a consultation with local residents and are preparing work with our legal team to look to long term resolutions.
"Further evidential statements have been obtained and we continue to work with legal teams to progress this matter."
