Essential food traders are to continue serving customers at Coalville Indoor Market throughout lockdown.

North West Leicestershire District Council confirmed on social media that food stalls are still operating.

However, the Council added: "Please be mindful that, from this week and for the remainder of lockdown, our market days have changed to Thursdays and Fridays.

"The stalls are:

  • Grimsby Fish (alternate Fridays – next date 20 November)
  • Pollards Fruit and Veg (every Thursday and Friday)
  • Ted's eggs (every Friday)
  • Quackers Bakery (every Friday)
  • The Handmade Brownie Company (Thursday 19 November only).

"Please email [email protected], call the market office on 01530 454773 or message us on Facebook if you are interested in having a stall at the market."
