Coalville Fire Crew were called out to two road collisions involving a car and a motor bike.
The pictured incident took place at the Asda store in Ashby Road where a man reportedly needed the ambulance to treat his injuries.
The photo shows the bike was completely wrecked by the collision.
A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said: "A collision and that was reported just after 11.40am on Saturday (9 Oct), outside Asda, involved a car and a motorcycle.
"The motorcycle rider was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary, but the injuries were not believed to be life threatening. The road was re-opened just before 1pm."
Coalville Fire did not give details of the second incident, but it is likely they were referring to an incident in Whitwick yesterday afternoon (Saturday) in which a motorcyclist was sadly killed.
The fire service posted a message to drivers on their Facebook page about being aware of motorcyclists.
They said: "Here are a few simple ways that you can avoid a crash with a motorcyclist:
"Keep your distance - driving too close can intimidate a less experienced motorcyclist.
"Check for bikes when turning - double-check for motorcyclists, whether you're turning left or right.
"Look carefully for motorbikes when you pull out at a junction. If you're approaching a junction, look out for motorcyclists pulling out too.
"Check for bikes when changing lanes - a motorcyclist may be in the space you want to move into, or moving into it fast. Remember your blind spot
"Park safely - check for motorcyclists before opening your car door - and ensure that your passengers do the same.
"When you pull away, remember to look specifically for motorcyclists as they can accelerate faster than cars".
