Coalville Fire Crew Attend 'Smoke Logged' Thringstone Property After Fuse Box Sparks Alert

Fire Crews from Coalville and Shepshed attended a blaze in Thringstone caused by a faulty fuse box.

The property in Melrose Road was 'smoke logged' and firefighters needed breathing apparatus to enter the house.

An initial emergency call was made just after 9.30am.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue said on their website: "Called to a smoke logged property, two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet in use.

"Electrical fuse box involved. Western Power requested to attend

"One appliance from Coalville and Shepshed."
