Coalville CAN will be staging a robot building weekend later this month.

The Memorial Square-based community group welcomes Mark Haig from Gizmobots on November 18-19.

On Saturday, there will be robot building workshops - then, the next day, you can help build a giant robot for the CAN office roof.

Mark will share his expertise and guide you in crafting your very own robot during the workshops.

The best part? You get to take your creation home!

You will be able to:

• Learn valuable skills

• Have fun and meet others

• Embrace the spirit of recycling

• Collaborate on building a giant robot

Costs cover Mark's time and expertise, but if affording it is an issue and you want to contribute in other ways, please get in touch with CAN.

Everyone is welcome, with or without children - those over eight can be dropped off.

The weekend is being billed as a unique opportunity to create and innovate.

Details of how to book can be seen in the posters in this article.
