Care company Home Instead Charnwood, Loughborough and Coalville celebrated reaching its sixth year of providing tailored support to older people by holding a get together for clients, caregivers and members of the local community.

Owner Charlotte Johnson has led the award-winning business to considerable success and popularity, creating a strong reputation for caring for older people since its launch in 2017.

The celebration saw clients, caregivers and local businesses come together to recognise the great work of the home care company over the last six years.

There were donations of flowers from Tesco as well as the Prince's Trust lending a hand to ensure the office's dementia garden was ship shape for the big day.

Artwork from Loughborough College was displayed and Christina from the Charnwood Musical Memory Box came along to talk about the interactive music based sessions they provide to the local community.

Charlotte said: "I'd like to thank all the guests for attending and of course, our fantastic care professionals and staff, who continue to provide phenomenal support to all of our clients.

"It was a proud moment seeing everyone celebrate what we have achieved over the last six years, especially with so much support and input from local organisations as well.

"We enjoyed lots of cake and fresh strawberries in the sunshine, it truly was a wonderful day!"

The company's services are tailored to the individual needs of each client and range from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, dementia care and live in care.
