Local community band Ibstock Brick Brass, based in Coalville, is looking for players to enhance their sections.

The band practices on a Monday and Thursday evening at Ebenezer Church in Coalville.

Under the direction of the musical director Chris Banks, the band is preparing for the Midlands Area Championships in February and requires players to complete their line-up.

The band welcomes all players who may be interested, but in particular cornets and trombones.

Over the past year the band has played at various events including local parks, birthday celebrations, summer shows to festive concerts at Christmas.
