Coalville Belvoir Rotary Club is holding a Race Night to raise funds to purchase vouchers through Coats4Kids, supported by the Rotary Clubs of Ashby.

Many children in and around Coalville and Ashby may not have a warm winter coat next winter.

Coats4Kids is a charity that provides coats in a way which maintains the child's dignity and avoids the stigma of a 'charity coat'.

The charity says these coats are more than just clothing - they are shields against the cold and instruments of dignity, pride, and a sense of belonging.

By gifting them a coat, a powerful message is sent: "You are valued, you are important, and you are not alone."

Providing children with warmth, dignity, and acceptance, creates an opportunity in which they can flourish academically, emotionally, and socially, says Coats4Kids.

The charity believes every child deserves the chance to learn and grow without the burden of isolation or ridicule.

More information is available on their website HERE.

The Race Night is on September 21 at Lingdale Golf Club, Joe Moores Lane, Woodhouse Eaves, LE12 8TF.

Doors and Bar Open 7.00pm with First Race 7.30pm. Tickets £15.00

Local businesses are also needed to sponsor each race.

A minimum donation of £50 per race allows them to name both the race and the horses in that race. You can email [email protected] or click HERE.
