A group of Coalville authors has joined forces to produce an anthology of short stories and poems - with the proceeds going to LOROS.

Titled, The Coalville Writers, the book features the work of a number of local contributors.

Many of the contributions started life as challenges to write on a particular theme in 500 words, and then read out during the group meetings.

The Coalville Writers group was founded by Fliss Middleton in 2018.

Group members have come and gone since its foundation.

But the encouraging creative spirit of the group always remained at its core.

Within these pages is a selection of short stories, opening chapters and poetry to showcase the diverse creativity of the group.

It costs £4.50 and all the profits are going to LOROS Hospice Care.

The writers in the book are PJ Huckerby, Rosemary Blake, Terri Eynon, DJ Gilmour, Macy Milldale, K. O'Shea, Fliss Middleton, Dimitru Langham, KH Parks and C Linton.
