The Living Without Abuse charity is staging a 5km fun run at Snibston Colliery Park in September.

Living Without Abuse is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity in Leicestershire - and its family friendly event returns to Coalville on September 19.

The organisers say: "Whether you're a long term runner, taking part in Couch to 5km or you're just looking for some fun, this is the event for you!

"Taking place at Snibston Colliery Park the route is beautiful - and there will be some fun surprises along the way too.

"Fancy dress is encouraged (but not compulsory) for this event, whether that's a full inflatable T-Rex costume or just a tutu! So get your family, friends, work mates together and join us for our third event in Coalville. It will be walking, children and dog friendly.

"Limited parking available on site - an email will be sent to registrants when it is available to book. Otherwise parking is available at Needhams Walk."

  • If you're organising an event this year, remember you can list it for FREE in our What's On section HERE - just click on the Nub It button and fill in your details, then press 'submit'.
