This week, a buyer's job has been advertised in Coalville, a temporary, possibly temporary to permanent role paying c£13-£14 ph dependant on experience

"Here's a brief job description: You will be working for a widely renowned and highly regarded, national organisation with a customer first approach who pride themselves on investing in their own people.

"You will be working as part of a wider team being the sole responsible person for procurement in that department. Working predominantly on Excel and Navision you will be responsible for managing stock levels and procuring components and materials based on current orders and requirements, maintaining data integrity and ensuring the systems are fully up to date. You will also be responsible for managing current supplier relationships and liaising with other internal departments to ensure all needs are met.

"You must have previous buying experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment and be available immediately or at short notice. The role has high potential to be made permanent so you will also ideally be looking for a permanent role but also understand that this is not a guarantee. You must also have strong Excel skills and be confident managing multiple relationships, internally and externally."
