Day-to-Day Responsibilities: HGV Technician

• Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on vacuum waste tankers

• Identifying and reporting any further repair opportunities to your line manager

• Completing compliance paperwork accurately and on time

• Ensuring company vehicles are used safely and in line with policy

• Maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism

• Following all health & safety guidelines and procedures

• Participating in ongoing training where required

• Working flexibly some weekend or shift work may be required

What We re Looking For: HGV Technician

Required:

• Experience working on tankers or HGVs (trailers, trucks, etc.)

• Confident communicator with a can-do attitude

• Basic computer skills and good record-keeping ability

• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working independently when needed

Preferred:

• Background in hydraulics, pneumatics, plant, or similar heavy vehicle types

• City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent qualifications
