This role offers an opportunity to provide much-needed support to those in temporary accommodation, helping them to sustain their tenancies and work towards independent living. You'll play a key role in the team, with responsibilities ranging from tenancy sustainment to liaising with external agencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-tenancy interviews, needs, and risk assessments to understand tenant requirements
- Provide a psychologically informed environment, ensuring tenants feel supported and empowered
- Assist with tenancy and benefit-related issues, helping tenants understand their responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records using housing systems like Orchard and Inform
- Promote tenant independence, guiding individuals towards managing their tenancies long-term
- Monitor service charge payments, arrears, and voids to ensure tenants are on track with their payments
- Conduct health and safety checks within the accommodation to ensure safe living conditions
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate support and interventions
- Attend multi-agency meetings and work jointly with external partners to provide comprehensive support
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals in housing or similar settings
- Strong understanding of tenancy sustainment and safeguarding protocols
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- IT literate; experience with housing systems (e.g., Orchard, Inform) is a distinct advantage
- A proactive approach, working well independently and as part of a collaborative team
- 32 hours per week

- Hourly Rate: 18 - 20 per hour (via Umbrella)
