Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break) Full-time, 5 days per week consistent, ongoing work.

About the Role:

We re currently recruiting an experienced Recycling Operative to join a well-established scrap metal merchant in Shepshed. This is a hands-on role involving the sorting and processing of scrap metal, plastics, and other recyclable materials.

You will be working in a busy, dusty, and noisy environment, so previous experience in a similar setting especially in a metal recycling facility is highly preferred. The role does not involve heavy lifting, but it does require attention to detail, focus, and the ability to work independently.

What We re Looking For:

• Previous experience working in metal recycling or a similar recycling environment

• Strong reliability someone who can commit to working Monday to Friday every week

• A good level of spoken and understood English

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting various scrap materials (mainly metals and plastics)

• Following strict health and safety procedures

• Keeping the work area clean and organised

• Supporting the team as required
