We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our Children's Mental Health Service in Coalville. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of high-quality mental health services for children and young people in the area. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people.

The ideal person for this Registered Manager - Mental Health will:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a mental health setting, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Experience working with children and young people in a mental health capacity
  • Knowledge of current legislation and regulations related to mental health services for children and young people
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and external agencies
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children's Mental Health Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of mental health professionals and support staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the service operates within financial constraints
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to promote collaboration and effective service delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the service
  • Ensure the service meets all necessary standards and requirements for registration and inspection
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff members
  • Keep up-to-date with developments and best practices in the field of children's mental health and implement changes as necessary
